An introduction to the bear
This blog aims to explore the journey of a budding Buddhist, so to speak, through the joys and difficulties of self-analysis and introspection. The bear has been my travel companion, my friend, ever non-judgmental, casting a compassionate, gentle and quiet smile over the challenges and ecstasies that life has brought me so far.
He is a source of inspiration. His tranquil smile never changes, no matter what the circumstances. He has been stuffed in suitcases and flown across the continent, mauled and subsequently ignored by countless friends, relatives and children, relegated to the bedroom floor in favour of less furry and more, well, human partners. Yet his loyalty and his peacefulness persist.
He is quite shy so prefers to leave the talking and the writing to me, but will assist and accompany me in my journey to find my own inner peace.
